Speakers: Professor Garun Hamilton and A/Prof Yet Khor
Professor Garun Hamilton MBBS, FRACP, PhD will present 'Novel technology in the assessment of sleep and sleep disorders'
Bio: Clinical Professor Garun Hamilton is a Respiratory and Sleep Disorders physician at Monash Health and with the School of Clinical Sciences at Monash University. He is Director of Sleep Research at Monash Health, working in collaboration with the physiology team at the Turner Institute at Monash University. He leads the Respiratory Failure and Non-Invasive Ventilation service at Monash Health, and holds an appointment with the Victorian Respiratory Support Service (VRSS) where he leads the Monash VRSS satellite service. His research interests are broad, spanning a range of clinical, physiological and epidemiological topics within sleep and respiratory medicine. He contributes significantly to the profession and is currently the President of the Australasian Sleep Association.
Associate Professor Yet H Khor, MBBS, FRACP, PHD will present 'Choosing of home testing for obstructive sleep apnoea'
Associate Professor Yet Khor is an NHMRC Emerging Leadership Fellow and a MRFF lead investigator at Monash University, as well as a respiratory and sleep physician at Austin Health, with keen interests in interstitial lung disease, oxygen therapy, and home-based monitoring. She is a TSANZ Board Member and chairs the TSANZ Clinical Care and Resources Sub-Committee and since 2021. She is also an associate editor of European Respiratory Journal and a member of the American Thoracic Society International Health Committee.
